* PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE PAGE AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. THANK YOU.*

Members,

Welcome to the launch of the new InjuryBoard blog platform - designed to be more powerful, more user friendly, give you more control and have additional features to help you connect with and gain the trust of potential clients. The platform will initially be relatively simple so that you and your staff can get acclimated to the new interface, but new features will be rolling out constantly over the coming weeks and months.

One change you will notice on your blogs immediately is that your categories may be different, and some of your previous categories may be gone altogether. Categories are now required for each post and are uniform system-wide. They are primarily used for aggregation purposes across InjuryBoard sites. Tags (coming soon) will be optional and blog-specific. You will be able to tag posts anything you want, basically creating your own categories. For instance, if you are interested in train accidents, you will tag each post you make about that subject “train accidents.” For now, though, all categories are the same.

Before you can sign in to the new administrative area, you MUST reset your password here. To reset your password, enter your old Username or the email address that corresponds with that username (make sure you can receive email from wschlaht@clarislaw.com; check your junk folder if you dont get a Password Reset email). For those of you ghostwriting for someone else, please contact me for assistance.

Once you have reset your password and received the new one, you will from this point forward log into your account from the InjuryBoard main site (no more myblog.injuryboard.com) using your email address. Simply click the Sign In link at the top right of most pages on the site:

Click To Sign-In

Upon initial login, you may want to change your password to something that is easier to remember than the password that was emailed to you. To do so, click the IB Members Area link at the top right of the site. Then click the Modify Profile link on the left to change your password. While you are in this area, you can also add biographical information and your photo to your new IB profile.

Before you click Save Changes, make sure to copy your bio to your clipboard. We have had some errors reported, and we don't want you to lose your information. If you do get an error after clicking SAVE CHANGES, click Back, repaste your bio and click SAVE CHANGES again. Repeat this step until you don’t get an error.

When making transitions such as this, there are bound to be many bugs that need to be worked out. We are already aware of several and are working hard to remedy them. I have created a discussion in the new Members’ Forum where you can report bugs or other technical issues you are having with the site. Please click the Members’ Forum link at the top right of the Members Area and review that forum before posting so the same bugs aren’t reported more than once and so you can see InjuryBoard responses to bugs already noted.

We greatly appreciate your patience and bearing with us while we work out the kinks. Even though there will be a small learning curve, everyone should be excited about the new platform. We at InjuryBoard certainly are.

Regards,
